Dan Butcher is interviewed this episode by Pete. He talks about his webcomic Vanguard and his comic processes. Dan is also a host of the Awesome Comics Podcast which Pete was a guest on recently. Hear on this episode the challenge we set for Pete whilst being interviewed and if he completed it.

Tom continues the Dan Butcher theme and reviews Vanguard Book 3 which is the third collection of his web comics. Mike talks about some big and small screen comic book adaptations we can look forward too, such as The Last Days of American Crime and Snowpiecer. Nikki and Ian also review Reaffirmation: Coming to Terms with an Autism Diagnosis by Rees Finlay now available on Comichaus (along with Vanguard).

Episode 71- Alex Paknadel and Mayamada

We have the brilliant Alex Paknadel on todays episode. Alex is the writer of the highly acclaimed series Friendo, Arcadia and Turncoat and has just announced he’s working on some comics for Marvel which are coming soon. Alex discusses his love of comics, how he got into creating comics and his process.

Pete chats too Nigel from Mayamada about his comic creating process and Mike reviews Williams Gibsons Alien 3 screenplay adaptation from Dark Horse comics and tells the curious story of the other lost scripts.

We also review Gamayun Tales 1 by Alexander Utkin and Canopus issues 1-4 by Dave Chisholm. Ian and Nikki also discuss the small strip entitled Talking to Dad by Jamie Smart which will have most people in tears.
