Hello one and all. The Lakes international Comic Art Festival 2019 has been and gone flying past in a speed of light. We have loads of content for you and this episode, released the day after the festival features chats with loads of creators from the Clock Tower at the festival plus a great chat with a group of Danish creators.
The people we chatted too in the Clock Tower were all asked 5 questions with the last one being asked by the previous creator. This all kicked off with festival director Julie Tate asking ‘what is your worst chore at home?’
We have Corinne Pearlman on this episode who is the creative director at Myriad Editions. Corinne discusses her working life and her involvement in comics up to and including her work at Myriad. She then looks at the First Graphic Novel Competition that Myriad is running in conjunction with the lakes festival which gives a creator the chance to have their graphic novel published along with full support. Find more about the competition that launches at the festival here.
